On 5 June 2025, a delegation of 7 representatives from the Pudong New Area Overseas Friendship Association (hereinafter, “Pudong Association”) visited our office. Representatives included Mr Zhang Feng (President of Pudong Association), Ms Liu Chunmei (Executive Vice President of Pudong Association), Mr Xie Fei (Director of the Lawyer Affairs Department of the Pudong New Area Justice Bureau), Mr Ding Zhihong (Director of the Medical Administration and Management Department of the Pudong New Area Health Commission), Mr Zhu Bin (Party Committee Member of Zhangjiang Town, Pudong New Area), Ms Ji Wei (Committee Member of Pudong Association) and Mr Gao Qingjiao (Committee Member of Pudong Association). They were warmly welcome by our Managing Partner Mr Sherman Yan along with our four partners, Ms Angel Wong, Mr Eric Woo, Dr Lawrence Yeung and Mr David Zhang.

During the meeting, both sides engaged in in-depth exchange in a harmonious and friendly atmosphere. Representatives from Pudong New Area gave us a detailed introduction of their work, allowing us to gain a clearer understanding of their mission. The current trend of Mainland enterprises expanding their businesses into overseas was being discussed.Our representatives introduced our firm’s milestones, scope of business, the market outlook in 2025, including opportunities and challenges, as well as our collaborations with the legal industry in Pudong. ONC is in the course of setting up a joint venture legal practice with HanSheng Law Offices in Pudong. With the support from the Pudong Association, we are confident that we shall be able to speed up our joint venture in Pudong and be better poised to tap such opportunities.

This exchange not only established connections but also enhanced mutual understanding and trust between both parties, laying a solid foundation for future collaborations.
