On 22 March 2024, our Partner Ms Olivia Kung gave a presentation at the Inter-Pacific Bar Association (“IPBA”) Forum held in Guangzhou. The theme of the forum was “Legal Issues in Direct and Indirect Investment and Trade between China and the United States”. The topic of Olivia’s presentation was “Investment Frauds: How to Avoid and What to do if Become a Victim”, with a focus of her experience in handling fraud and scam cases in Hong Kong and the risks and preventive measures in investments.
