On 19 December 2022, our partner Ms Angel Wong gave a two-part webinar on “Updates of Hong Kong Capital Markets 2022”. The webinar served as a training programme on topics which are relevant to sponsor work. Part 1 covers IPO statistics and enforcement news in relation to IPOs and sponsor work, while Part 2 covers updates of regulations, guidance materials and listing decisions, as well as numerous lengthy consultation papers and conclusions in relation to Hong Kong capital market.

The webinar attracted a large number of capital market practitioners including management members, responsible officers, licensed representatives as well as in-house compliance officers of licensed corporations, in particular licensed corporations engaging in Type 6 regulated activities and sponsor business. It was attended by representatives from over 40 licensed corporations.
