On 30 June 2014, our Senior Partner Mr. Ludwig Ng gave a speech at the Certificate Award Ceremony of the 1st Law Reform Essay Competition to share his thoughts on the competition and law reform in Hong Kong. Guests attending the ceremony also included the Honorary Chief Justice Geoffrey Ma, the Solicitor General Mr. Frank Poon, and Dean of HKU Law Faculty of Law Prof. Johannes Chan SC, etc.

Organised by the Law Reform Commission of Hong Kong (LRC), the competition aims to promote the importance of law reform among young law students and provide them with an opportunity to propose how a given area of Hong Kong law may be reformed. ONC Lawyers is one of the four law firms providing a one-month attachment for the five winners.
