On 29 October 2020, our Consultant Mr Joshua Chu conducted the “FINTECH LEGAL & TAX WORKSHOP ” for the “FinTech Go Hong Kong & Singapore” programme.

This programme was jointly organised by the Austrian Trade Commission via Advantage Austria Hong Kong (the Foreign Trade Organization of the Austrian Federal Economic Chamber in Vienna) and Global Incubator Network Austria.

The workshop took the form of a hybrid online seminar/panel discussion covering topics including contracts & taxation, local representatives, compliance regulations, logic of jurisdiction, dealing with data and IP protection, etc. The programme was specifically catered for Austrian participants at the 2020 Hong Kong FinTech Week.

Guest speakers for the panel discussion included Ms Anna Lau (a member of the German Chambers of Commerce) and our Associate Ms Ivy Wang.
