Our consultants, Mr Joshua Chu and Mr Julian So, have recently delivered a talk on the landscape of cryptocurrency regulations in Hong Kong and the opportunities brought by asset backed tokens at the Ohkims Blockchain Centre in Seoul, Korea on 21 February 2020.

During the conference, Joshua and Julian discussed the opportunity that the new regulatory framework for virtual assets trading platform rolled out by the SFC last year will bring. The conference was well attended by a number of Korean enterprises ranging from start-ups to contenders desiring to establish licensed exchanges.
