Andrew Sutedja is a distinguished Indonesian advocate with extensive experience in corporate and commercial law, complex dispute resolution, and high-level cross-border transactions. He is widely recognised for his strategic judgment, commercial acumen, and ability to navigate sophisticated multi-jurisdictional matters. Andrew is the Managing Partner of Sutedja & Associates Law Firm, where he leads the firm’s strategic direction and oversees complex domestic and cross-border mandates.
Andrew’s practice encompasses corporate structuring, mergers and acquisitions, banking and finance, restructuring, shipping and maritime, regulatory compliance, and alternative dispute resolution. He regularly advises leading corporations, financial institutions, and private clients on high-value transactions, contentious proceedings, and regulatory strategy. His work frequently involves coordinating with foreign counsel and managing matters across multiple jurisdictions.
He has acted in significant arbitration proceedings and complex commercial disputes, providing strategic leadership from early-stage risk assessment and negotiation through to enforcement and final resolution. His approach combines technical precision with pragmatic commercial insight, enabling clients to achieve commercially sound and defensible outcomes.
Andrew is an Indonesian qualified advocate and a member of PERADI (Indonesian Advocates Association). He is also a Member of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (MCIArb) and an accredited mediator at the Indonesian National Mediation Centre. He is regularly invited to speak and serve in international legal forums, reflecting his standing within the regional legal community.
