On 3 July 2025, our Partner Ms Angel Wong presented a seminar organised by the Society of Chinese Accountants & Auditors (SCAA) on the topic "Roles of Auditors in IPOs and Opportunities".

In the seminar, Angel provided a comprehensive overview of how accountants and auditors can make early assessments of a company's compliance with listing requirements by leveraging on their access to the company’s financial data and their understanding of the company's operations. Angel also presented the latest developments and favourable policies for listings in Hong Kong, explained the requirements of various pathways to become listed in Hong Kong, and clarified some misconceptions about the criteria for meeting listing requirements. The seminar aims to enable relevant stakeholders to capitalize on the opportunities presented by Hong Kong’s stock market, attract more high-quality companies to list in Hong Kong and foster the sustained, high-quality development of Hong Kong’s capital market.

The seminar was well-received by participants attending online or in person.
